Petcrazed--Thanks for your posting--look forward to meeting you and Tate. The event will be chaos but wonderful "Golden" chaos. And yes--pass the word on. Getting 100 plus Goldens in one place at one time will be a wonderful sight. I will have a photographer at the event and will provide a CD of pics to all those that participate (it will make for a great screen saver)
Thanks/Lenny

Midas: A collie day sounds good. Maybe someday we can do a "Collies in the Park" day. Eventhough this will be a Golden Retriever event, you are welcome to come on out and have some fun with us.
Thanks for your posting

NorCal Golden Retriever Rescue is looking for volunteers & fosters for the many unwanted Golden Retrievers in the Central California areas. They have many Golden Rescue Fundraiser dog walks, paws in the park events thru out north California and desperately need donations, dog supplies, volunteers, foster families, etc. They can have Golden events in Central cal if volunteers are available to set up the fundraisers.
They have many Goldens looking for a forever loving home.

Dog Events The "Goldens in the Park" sounds like so much fun! I don't drive, so how about a "Slo Doggies in the Park" sometime in the North County? Maybe as a fundraiser for "Second Chance at Love".

Reply to Beth08 and JanT---------Beth what you and your group do is outstanding. After the event, Goldens's in the Park, I/we will be starting a Golden Retriever club. With that, hopefully we can do something to help your group with man power and future donations.
Jan--Once we get the Golden Retriever group/club up and running, we can have get togethers not only in SLO but all locations in SLO County. I will even come pick you up to attend an event. And also, hopefully we will also be able to help with fundraising for groups and organizations that helps our pet community.
Tell a freind about "Goldens in the Park". And..........everyone is invited to show up and hang out. You dont have to have a Golden.
Thanks Lenny
PS: I'll be glad when this message board has spell check.
