Hello! I am a Cal Poly student who has created a personal blog detailing my work at the SLO Animal Services. It includes photos and longer "pet profiles" than the official shelter website provides. I'm just getting off the ground, so I'm looking for comments, advice, inspiration... anything! If you are looking to adopt from the shelter, but wish you had just a little more info than they give you on the website, my blog is for you. Please, don't hesitate to use the "contact" tab to let me know what you think! In addition, keep checking back as the blog will grow and change over the course of the quarter. Thanks!

What a GREAT Blog you have! This is a great idea. I will post a link on this site to your blog on the shelters page. We LOVE to see shelter animals getting adopted into families and support your efforts!

Thanks! I love to do this for the shelter, and we've seen a real increase in adoptions of the featured animals! Let me know if you have any comments or suggestions on how I can improve - and tell your friends who are looking for pets!
