Adopt-a-Pet Event runs every Saturday from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm (weather permitting) at Lemos Feed & Pet Supply in Arroyo Grande.  All dogs are spayed/neutered. There is a $30 adoption fee which includes rabies vaccination and microchip ID. The San Luis Obispo County Red Cross Chapter is now offering 2 new Pet First Aid Courses that provide hands-on training that builds first aid skills and provides guidance in emergency situations until veterinary care is available.  For more information on these classes, scroll down this page to download a flyer, email sloarchealth@charter.net or call Sally Wise at 543-0696.  ARCPetFirstAid.doc

Fleabag Flea Market                                                                                                                                                           Saturday, March 13th, 8 am - 1 pm 

This flea market will be held at the Arroyo Grande Elm Street Park. All proceeds will benefit the Five Cities Dog Park! Donations and volunteers are greatly needed! For more information, please contact www.fivecitiesdogpark.com or download the flyer on our home page! 

 

 

2nd Annual Paso Robles Dog Jog 
Saturday, March 27th, 9 am - 11 am

Dogs can bring their owners for a 4K/2K run or walk through the beautiful Salinas River walk trail that starts and ends at the Kennedy Club Fitness in Paso Robles. The proceeds from this popular event will benefit North County Dog Parks. This year we're adding a 1K Kids loop for children 12 and under to run or walk with their dogs. Early bird race registration is $15 until March 20th and $20 through race day. Kids race is $5. Participants of the 4K/2k race will receive a racer's goodie bag, an event bandana for their dog, and a medal. 4K/2K race starts at 9 am. Kids race starts at 10 am. Rain or shine. Race day registration starts at 8 am. Register at the Kennedy Club Paso Robles facility at 500 South River Road, via mail-in registration or through the website at www.parks4pups.org. Sunday, July 11th   12-3 pm    3rd Annual Goldens in the Park

SLO County Golden Retrievers Club will be hosting its 3rd annual Goldens in the Park event. This event will be held at the Santa Rosa Park in SLO!  For more information, please contact  Lenny Jones at 489-9000 or email him at lennyjone@lennyj.com  Volunteers are needed!  Vendors Welcome!

AUGUST: 

Sat, August 21, 2010   "Puttin on the Dog"  

This fundraiser to benefit the Five Cities Dog Park in Arroyo Grande will take place at Elm Street Park from 9 am- 1 pm. The event will include demonstrations, contests, barbeque, pooch parades, and much more.... SEPTEMBER: 

September 10-12th        4th Annual Splash Days at the Templeton Community Pool

Friday, Sept 10th  4 pm -7 pm     "Little Dog & Senior Dog Swim"    Under 30 pounds or older or infirm dogs

Sat  11th & Sunday 12th   10 am- 3 pm    Open to All dogs- any size 

Admission is $15 by advance reservation and at the door. Event proceeds benefit Vineyard Dog Park in Templeton. Dogs are only allowed in the pool.  Dog trainers will be in the pool acting as lifeguards to provide assistance as necessary to dogs.  Reservations are recommended as space is limited.  Swim sessions are limited to 45 minutes.  Proof of current rabies vaccinatio must be shown for each dog prior to admittance.
