Well, the year is off to a great start here on the Central Coast, from openings of dog parks to campaigns to ID and spay or neuter all dogs on the central coast! There are lots of opportunities for you to get involved in our local dog community!

Looking for a Golden Retriever?
Just to let you know, there is a purebreed male golden ret., between 4-6 yrs old that came into the animal shelter as a stray from the Oceano area. He is a beautiful golden. So if anyone is looking for a golden, he's at the animal shelter in SLO. He will be available for adoption this coming week if no one shows up to redeem him. He has been at the shelter for 3 or 4 days already.

Join The Pack Campaign!
There is a new campaign being launched in the county by a local non-profit, Animal Shelter Adoption Partners, called Join The Pack! This campaign aims to put ID's on all animals in the county to cut down on animals going to Animal Services and thereby ending unnecessary euthanasia in SLO County...
