Dear SLODOGGIES Members,

Wow, this year is racing by! Lots is happening here in our local dog community and we want to be sure you don't miss out on any of it!

June 6 is the 2nd annual Mutt Strutt at Kennedy Club Fitness in Arroyo Grande. Come out and help raise money for Woods while getting in shape! Registration begins at 8:30 am and the event starts at 9 am!

June 27th is the Woofstock at Waller Park in Santa Maria! There is so much to do there you need to visit the events page on the site for details!

Coming up in a few weeks is the 2nd annual Goldens in the Park Event in SLO. The event is FREE this year and they expect to have over 200 goldens there this time! There will also be food booths, lots of fun dog events and contests, and lots of green grass. Any proceeds raised goes to support Woods Humane Society!

Also, the organizer of the Goldens Event is looking for volunteers to help get the word out as well as help out the day of the event! If you are interested, email him at lennyj@surfari.net !

Where is everyone? We miss seeing everyone using the message boards and connecting with other local dog lovers! If you have any ideas on how we could improve our message board experience, please let us know!

The Five Cities Dog Park is open! They are looking for Dog Park Monitors on Wed, Thurs and Fridays. If you would like to learn more about this volunteer position, please contact Rayquin2001@yahoo.com

One last thing, we apologize that we have been unable to attend some of these great events taking place throughout the county. We were looking forward to meeting some of you in person. Due to personal and financial issues, we are unable to participate in anything beyond maintaining the site at this time. We hope you understand and we appreciate your continued support of SLODOGGIES.com!
